National Wine Museum
I would like to introduce our unique wine cellar (anno
1789) and the National Wine Museum. The wine cellar
lies 12 m below the hotel and consists of 4 different
parts. Here our guests can join the guided tour,
to see and hear the interesting history of the
cellar. They can taste the wines for gastronome,
and enjoy the virtuoso gypsy music and folklore
program.
In the National Wine Museum, the traditional wine-making
techniques are exhibited and you can find an introduction
to the 22 Hungarian wine regions. Here more than
500 different kinds of wine including several
wine rarities can be found.
In the wine sanctuary we present local wines
from the most well-known wine producers' cellars.
Among them, the "House wines" produced by Béla
Vincze, Tibor Gál and Vilmos Thummerer.
The cellar has 2 restaurant areas for approximately
200 people. We organise wine tasting and complete
